Irlands Whiskey-Legende

Bushmills gilt als die älteste Whiskey-Destillerie Irlands. Erste Hinweise auf Brennaktivitäten im kleinen Ort Bushmills an der Nordküste Irlands gehen bis ins 15. Jahrhundert zurück. 1608 verlieh König James I. Sir Thomas Phillips Destillerrechte. Bushmills heutiger Erfolg als eine der höchstprämierten irischen Destillerien liegt vor allem in der erstklassigen, traditionsverbundenen Arbeit begründet.
